RMI is in the business of helping organizations become more effective at managing their information risk. We believe that an important part of being able to help others is knowledge sharing. More simply put:
We'd rather teach you to fish than be your high-priced fishermen.
Engaging RMI is easy. Contact us and we can set up a call to discuss how a risk-focused approach can make a difference.
Typically, we sit down with you and talk about the challenges your IRM program currently faces. Maybe that's measurement, or political influence, or maybe you're just starting to switch from a compliance focus to a risk focus - whatever the case we usually have a phone or face-to-face meeting where we introduce you to our models and methods and how they might help you with your current challenges.
From there, we typically have several conversations and talk about what the best low-impact/high benefit engagement might be, and draw up a Statement of Work.
Once the SOW has been signed and any other paperwork taken care of, RMI usually works through some basic training meetings, information gathering efforts (onsite and via questionnaires) and then we perform analytical functions.
All engagement deliverables are designed keeping the main business benefits in mind. Engagements stress knowledge transfer (teaching you to fish...) to understand our philosophy regarding our clients and a goal of having you be able to repeat the process yourself if you wish to do so in the future.
Most clients also follow up their work engagement with some level of traning and subscription to our software tools so that they can start implementing these new risk management concepts themselves.
